FIRST TIMERS' SURVIVAL CHALLENGE

Survivor, Amazing Race, Scavenger Hunt all combined into one. We want to make our first timers first time memorable. Birds of Paradise

Golden Oldies Dinner

Been to at least 15 conventions. Then join us for Happy Hibiscus reminiscing. Please meet in the main lobby on Saturday at 12:30 for a no-host lunch.

Special Needs Dinner

If you have a child(ren) with special needs, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, physical or mental handicap, etc., or you may have experienced any problems during pregnancy or childbirth; come meet with other moms who can relate with you. Meet in the main lobby on Saturday at 12:30 for a no-host lunch.

Tribal Challenge

We are asking all clubs to bring diapers of any size or a monetary donation for Growing Together Daycare, a non-profit organization that is free to single mothers with children ages 0-3 so they can go back to school.

Coconut Challenge

Design a club table standard and win a prize. It must follow our Hawaiian theme and have your clubs name. Be creative.

WORKSHOPS & GUEST SPEAKERS

FRIDAY:

Jackie Harvey - Jackie's "Let's Talk About... Hormones" seminar informs women about important issues related to hormones. She is an international nutritional speaker and natural health advocate. Jackie is the mother of seven children, has been married for 37 years and has an identical twin sister.

Club Workshop - Northwest will have their annual club round table workshop.

SATURDAY:

Paula Fisher - Baby sign language. Learn basic sign language to help babies communicate before they are able to talk. Please RSVP by March 1, 2005 if you wish to attend, and please include where you are from and she will find someone close to you for more information.

University of British Columbia - information seminar with research about the development of twins. Since its opening in 1915, the University of British Columbia has developed a reputation for innovation and excellence in both teaching and research, and has become a leader in higher education in Canada. UBC researchers conduct more than 4,000 research projects and attract upwards of $200 million in research funding annually from government, industry and non-profit foundations.

MOY LUNCHEON:

We have booked Paul Latta for our luncheon entertainment. He is a professional Hawaiian dancer and he will speak on the history of Hawaiian dancing and how it came about telling stories and what some hula moves will be. He is a very funny man and don t be surprised that he may want a few of you to hula with him, so dress for the part in case you will be called upon.

GENERAL SESSION:

During Saturday s General Session we will be honouring Mary Adcock, National Organization Mothers of Twins Club President, giving us an informative talk on school placement of twins.
